Restaurant Was Terrible

This is purely for the restaurant. Three bored staff members, stood around chatting, the younger male threw the butter pats on the table, didn’t bring a side plate for the bread, and didn’t bother to follow up in regards to asking if we needed water or another drink. A very lazy and poor service. Also, ONE vegetarian option. I know the menu was not good as I listened to other patrons an and they could find nothing suitable for their kids. Will bring some food in from the city tomorrow. Very shabby.

Best thing about this hotel is that it’s very close to the airport. Nonetheless, it’s really pricey to what you get. Room is small and warmer than it should be. Still, it’s clean. We chose it because we had an early flight and we wanted to be sure to fly on time.

Great alternative to a city centre hotel

Stayed here for two nights last month. Was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Room was a good size and was nicely furnished in a modern style. Managed to get it at a fantastic rate - €52 per night. An absolute bargain! It's a great option for a weekend break. It's right beside the airport. When you exit the airport building you will see it in the near distance if you look left. Plus there is a bus stop outside the hotel that will have you in the city centre in 20 minutes. Any staff I encountered were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. There is also a reasonably priced small restaurant/bar on site. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Luxembourg.

A year ago, the hotel was undergoing a thorough renovation. We could see the results yesterday : a cleaner, better looking hotel all around. Rooms are still small, but comfortable. You can open the windows to air your room. Hôtel people are friendly and helpful. Overall a good place to stay if you’re waiting for your plane at Lux Airport.

Uncomfortably Hot Room

Rooms are small but pretty clean. The biggest issue is that the room was very very hot (it had been in the low 70s that day in Luxembourg) and the one window could only be slightly tilted back to open and provided no ventilation. There appears to be air conditioning in the hotel, but because of the number of reviews that complain about the hot rooms, it seems that the hotel management won't turn it on, probably to save money. So if you don't like sleeping in a sauna, stay in another hotel.
